Rita Edochie, a veteran Nollywood actress, has called for the release of Indigenous People of Biafra leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
The IPOB leader, who is on trial for treasonable felony, was supposed to appear in Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday, but the Federal Government failed to produce him.
On her Instagram page, Edochie asked the federal government to release Kanu, saying, “They Need Biafra.”
According to her, Igbos need Biafra as they can no longer be third class citizens in Nigeria.
Her post reads: “Free Mazi NNamdi Kanu now to avoid ‘had I know.’
“Allow us to go. We need Biafra. We can’t keep being third class citizens in our own land.”
