Rachel Oniga, a veteran Nollywood actress, died at the age of 64.
COVID-19 problems took her life on Friday, July 30, 2021.
Until her death, Oniga was one of Nollywood’s most well-known and important actors.
She was born on May 23, 1957, in Ebute Metta, Lagos State, to parents from Eku, Delta State.
Oniga made her Nollywood debut in the 1996 smash film “Onome,” and went on to star in a number of major films, including “Sango” and Wale Adenuga’s television series “Super Story.”
Three children and several grandkids survive the divorcee.
