The whole of South East is under lock and key following the sit-at-home (ghost town) order declared by the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB).
According to report gathered by Eco, markets in the early hours of Monday complied to the ‘sit at home’ directive.
Today being the first day recorded full compliance and IPOB had earlier said the lockdown protest will continue every Monday till its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released from prison.
At about 8 a.m., major roads, streets, markets and shops in various cities were shutdown.
