Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, has spoken out in support of an Igbo president in 2023.
Obi, who spoke on Arise TV on Monday morning, said the Igbos need to talk and come up with a compelling argument for why the region should produce the next president.
He stated that the task for selecting the President belongs with the political parties.
Though, Eco City Reporters had gathered that the Secessionist group in Southeast has given a straight warning that there will be no election in Igbo land starting with Anambra governorship election.
Stating further why election shouldn’t hold, Timothy told our correspondent via a chat that the “federal which is mainly the Fulani ruled Government hasn’t cared about our race for many years and we have exhausted our patience in the unity of Nigeria. All we want now is independence state of Biafra not election and I will continue to support the campaign against election in Biafra land,” He added.
