SIT-AT-HOME: Igbos Takes A Step That Will Affect Nigeria As Buhari Visits Imo State (See Photos)

The Igbo people have taken a drastic action against the visit of the Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari to Imo state today being the 9th September, 2021.

In a statement released by the Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB, Chika Edoziem who is now representing the leadership has warned all Igbos to stay indoors as a way to show the president that he is not welcome in the region.

He mandated that all roads, schools, banks, markets, shops and every other business activities should be shutdown.

Following events, the government of Imo state had warned IPOB in a recent interview with BBC Igbo while urging ndi Igbo to come out and go about their normal business without any fear.

In addition, The Eastern Apex cultural group, known as Ohanaeze Ndigbo had also advised the people of the region most especially in Imo to come out and welcome president Muhammadu Buhari during his visit.

But with the pictorial evidences, Eco City Reporters obtained revealed that the Igbos prefers sitting at home to possibly frown at the president’s visit as all major roads are completely empty.
